The highly precise surface grinding machine is designed for the machining of indexable inserts and other similar workpieces that are made out of tungsten carbide, CERMET, ceramics, CBN and HSS.
The Agathon 350 T&B machine has been developed to grind either one or both surfaces for consistently smaller batch sizes with minimum retooling and expenditure. The machine can be operated in combination with several periphery grinding machines.
Massive and stable dimensioning of the most important elements, such as base, grinding spindle and infeed slides guarantee high precision and productivity. The workpieces are positioned in shaped masks. |
